This series explores thresholds, boundaries and processes of translation between languages, images and meanings.

Based on images of digital translation interfaces, the works capture moments of transition between Japanese and English, between writing and reading, between text and touch.
 The tablet surface becomes a fragile zone of passage, where language, memory and perception shift and transform.
